I’m a little embarrassed, because I’ve been meaning to share this recipe with you since, oh I dunno…Thanksgiving. Remember that holiday? It was only 3 1/2 weeks ago, although it feels like it was about 13 lifetimes ago. Once again, I lost weeks of my life to learning about a single organ in the body. This time, the kidneys. Sometimes, it’s right in the middle of test week, and you decide to make a coffeecake, an apple pie, and homemade rolls for premature Friendsgiving. You just decide this, and you don’t think about the fact that it is a stupid decision, and that you have no time management skills, and that there are more important life skills you should be working on with all this apparent “free-time” you’ve created to bake this stuff. This is a little bit of Thanksgiving at my (Hannah’s) house:
So…it’s almost Thanksgiving. Halloween is long gone, it’s almost Thanksgiving, which means it’s almost Hanukkah, and almost Christmas, so it’s almost New Years, so it’s almost January, aka our Birthday Month.
Basically, you should start thinking about what you’re going to get us for our birthdays (or more importantly what you’re going to bake for us) which are conveniently 13 days apart. (more…)
