Lemon Pistachio Cornmeal Cake

Do you know anybody in Ann Arbor, Michigan?

I don’t either.  But I’ll be moving there in June to start my Medicine/Pediatrics residency at University of Michigan! After all that traveling and all those interviews and all that contemplating about lists and ranks and cities and hospitals…4th med students all over the country found out where they’ll be for residency for the next few years.   (more…)

Triple Citrus Sugar Cookies

It’s winter in Dallas finally.  We had some sleet and frozen rain fall from the sky and schools closed for 2 days.  I went to work on the second of the 2 “snow days,” and there was so little traffic that I wish EVERY day was a fake snow day for the rest of the city.   (more…)

Lemon Ricotta Cookies

Strawberry Lemonade Pie

This is going to be a quick one because the Masters are on tv, and we all know how fast golf moves. If I look away for a second I could miss…someone lining up a putt.

Really this is a quick one because the last couple days of lectures have fried my brains. And we’re learning about brains! What a coincidence! (more…)
