Pear Cranberry Crumble

Uhhh hi. Sorry about my (Kate’s) infrequency of posts lately! Gearing up for finals and trying not to die as my apartment actually falls apart around me (a story for another post. Teaser: A voodoo diorama may or may not be involved) have really annoyingly jeopardized my time.

But I’m here with some holiday-level goodness to make up for my scatterbrainz finals headspace.

Brown Butter Bourbon Apple Pie

Sometimes, it’s right in the middle of test week, and you decide to make a coffeecake, an apple pie, and homemade rolls for premature Friendsgiving.  You just decide this, and you don’t think about the fact that it is a stupid decision, and that you have no time management skills, and that there are more important life skills you should be working on with all this apparent “free-time” you’ve created to bake this stuff. Three Chip Cookies

I just finished watching this week’s Parenthood.

This means that, currently, I’m in a very fragile place emotionally. (I dare you to watch an episode without crying. At least once).

I guess that’s not all that noteworthy. Except… I kind of do this to myself intentionally. Like, it’s not even that I know it will destroy me emotionally. It’s that I want it to completely break me.

Normal people do that, right?

No? Is it just me? Am I the only emotional-masochist out there?

You guys, EPIC NEWS.

We (Hannah and I) took a picture together when we were in the same place and looking pretty!! Check it ouuuuttt!

Sorry if this ruins some elaborate narrative you had about us actually being the same person, or two different sides of Hannah’s personality, or if you thought that I was maybe a dude. I hope you can forgive us and that we can still be internet friends.
